SAP ERP Financials and FICO Handbook (The Jones and Bartlett Publishers Sap Book Series) ReviewThis book has a very interesting and unique format. The first two chapters, covering a third of the book consist of questions and answers. The first chapter has questions of a general nature, i.e. What is the SAP implementation roadmap and what steps are involved in it? The second chapter is more specific, i.e. Where do you define the length of the general ledger (G/L) account numbers?
As you can see, these are not questions for the complete beginner, nor are they what an accomplished expert would need. This, to me, makes the book ideal for the advanced beginner or intermediate level user who needs to have a more complete level of understanding. By picking these questions, the author makes sure that the reader gets an overall understanding of the subject matter.
After the first two chapters, the book turns into a king of general reference book on the FICO (FInancial accounting and COntroling) package. As the title says, it's a handbook.
