ProfitBrand: How to Increase the Profitability, Accountability and Sustainability of Brands ReviewNick Wreden offers an exhaustively researched but very engaging book on branding that goes a step beyond the traditional books of this kind. Rather than just rehashing what most business professionals already know about the importance of building a strong brand, Wreden explores how businesses can place more measurement and accountability to their branding efforts. He brings in groups you may not have thought about before, such as supply chain and manufacturing organizations, and how they also play a key role in strengthening a brand...with an excellent example of how K-Mart failed to leverage its supply chain capabilities. This is a must-read for not only marketing, PR, sales and financial managers, but also others in the organization who have a stake in the brand. Wreden shows just how many stakeholders can help build the brand.ProfitBrand: How to Increase the Profitability, Accountability and Sustainability of Brands Overview

The Female Brand: Using the Female Mindset to Succeed in Business ReviewThe Female Brand breathes fresh air into the literature on women and success making it a must read for women (and most men, too). I love the focus on empowerment - with many practical and concrete strategies and tactics you can do to empower your career and dispose of habits that take you nowhere. Smart women don't want to waste time on victim thinking - and there is none of that here. Rather, the author focuses on female aptitudes to leverage. Women are notoriously bad at self-promotion and asking for more money and responsibility. But if you don't promote yourself, who will? The book shows you options - ways to toot your own horn through using story and humor, for example, that can help women cross these hurdles. While we all have our own journey, The Female Brand will show you how to succeed in your journey on your terms - so you can be yourself, achieve what you desire and have fun in the process. The Female Brand: Using the Female Mindset to Succeed in Business Overview

There's a Customer Born Every Minute: P.T. Barnum's Amazing 10 "Rings of Power" for Creating Fame, Fortune, and a Business Empire Today -- Guaranteed ReviewI've reviewed The Attractor Factor: 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or Anything Else) from the Inside Out and Buying Trances: A New Psychology of Sales and Marketing on Amazon, and I stand behind what I wrote in each of those reviews. "There's A Customer Born Every Minute" is of a different stripe. This book is what you get when Joe Vitale sets aside his aggressive, non-stop self marketing campaign for a moment and delivers a rich thesis on one of the greatest salespeople to ever walk the earth. For the record, Barnum did not say "There's a sucker born every minute." The quote actually comes from one of his competitors...Google it and see for yourself.
This book is more substantive and less "carrot-dangling" than some of Joe's other work. Jeffrey Gitomer provides the Foreword, and Vitale's book...coupled with Gitomer's own recent Little Platinum Book of Cha-Ching: 32.5 Strategies to Ring Your Own (Cash) Register in Business and Personal Success (Jeffrey Gitomer's Little Books) (itself a "revised and updated" version of his "Patterson Principles of Selling," based on the late-1800s sales creed of the president of the National Cash Register Company), would nicely complement any modern-era sales volumes on your bookshelf.
I'm going out on a limb here and say that Joe probably reads his Amazon reviews. So, Mr. Vitale, here's my direct message to you. You would provide greater value and a greater level of service to your loyal customers if you offered more stand-alone books such as this one and fewer items that are merely a conduit to purchasing your other products. Thank you for this book, and while your readers learn the lessons contained within, hopefully you will learn a lesson or two yourself.
The book also reprints Barnum's "The Art of Money Getting," a speech contained in his 1869 autobiography "Struggles and Triumphs," and "Barnum's Rules for Success," an article he wrote in 1852 which later appeared in the 1855 edition of his biography.
In closing, once again, I want to clearly state that this isn't an open invitation to begin accumulating the collective works of Joe Vitale. This book is an exception to the rule he's created himself. It's worth owning and I recommend it. Beyond this book, caveat emptor. There's a Customer Born Every Minute: P.T. Hidden in Plain Sight: How to Find and Execute Your Company's Next Big Growth Strategy ReviewI've had a chance to review Erich Joachimsthaler's book "Hidden in Plain Sight", which I've found to be an good book.
First, let me start out by saying that this book is not necessarily a book "about" innovation. This is a book about corporate strategy and what I like to call strategic intent. Hidden in Plain Sight addresses a far-too-common problem - the fact that many firms have become comfortable with their understanding and view of customers from the "inside out". In this manner, many firms have segmented the customer base and determined the specific needs and wants of customers - which is traditional marketing best practice. The problem is that too often this segmentation and understanding of needs is based on the company's perspective of the customers' needs and opportunities, rather than from the perspective of the customers themselves. What happens in these cases is learned myopia and artificial comfort from the fact that we "know" our customers and understand them. Eventually what happens in these cases is that an unexpected competitor disrupts the market because they had a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges the customer faces.
So, what Joachimshtaler proscribes is an "outside in" mentality, combined with a "demand first" innovation model. In the book, he describes how Frito-Lay undertook extensive research to understand how and why people used snack foods - going well beyond traditional quantitative research to understand the reasons behind why people ate what they ate and when they ate. Much of the work Joachimshtaler describes sounds like Voice of the Customer research, although he does not describe it that way. He calls this creating the "demand landscape".
According to Joachimshtaler, Frito Lay was concerned that many of its long held beliefs were being proven incorrect. For example, Frito Lay pioneered the point of purchase rack for its snacks and assumed that most decisions for purchase were based right at the cash register. In watching consumers however, it became clear that was no longer the case. Many individuals ignored the point of purchase racks to select a specific snack. Frito management decided "We had to start thinking more about why consumers consume our products and not longer about how they purchased them". This meant that Frito Lay management had to change their thinking about customers from "point of purchase" to "point of consumption or use" - what Joachimshtaler calls "point of purpose". This last concept is why I label the book as a book about corporate intent rather than a book about innovation. In this context, innovation becomes a method or an approach to providing solutions to the new corporate intent.
The first two sections of the book do a great job laying out Joachimshtaler's concepts about customer advantage and demand-first innovation. In these two steps, the author depicts a major shift in how most firms understand and react to their prospects and customers. In his estimation, most firms are operating under an "inside out" view of customers that is tainted by internal perspectives of customers wants and needs, and by a product centric rather than customer centric approach. Additionally, years of segmentation and other marketing efforts have eliminated a number of potential customers and markets that could be viable. Once the firm decides to understand its customers in a new light, it can begin to shift its product and service development models to understand the customer demand, then create ideas for new products and services based on this new understanding. Again, this advocates using innovation and the tools and techniques for innovation (including ideation, brainstorming, consumer contradictions or seeming irreducible tradeoffs) as an outcome to generate ideas after the company has adopted a new strategic intent. I don't argue with that approach, but this switch to become much more consumer focused will require a dramatic investment in time and energy to refocus the corporate culture and the "old habits". The question the management team must answer at this juncture is: What is causing our lack of growth and differentiation? A poorly defined strategic intent, which means we can innovate but often miss the mark due to an "inside out" approach, or is our strategy ok but we simply don't innovate very well? Joachimshtaler has a very clear approach in the first case.
There is a lot to like in this book - several examples used in the book could be cribbed from customers I've worked with recently. As I've pointed out to many of my clients, innovation needs to be tightly aligned with strategy and strategic intent, or it will not be successful other than as a product extension strategy. Joachimshtaler takes this concept and reverses it, demonstrating that a new strategic intent - customer advantage - will ultimately drive new innovation approaches.
In the last section of his book, Strategies for Realizing Customer Advantage, Joachimshtaler turns his attention to marketing strategy, brand strategy and portfolio management and an examination of how to connect and engage with customers. Using examples from BMW, VW and MasterCard, he demonstrates how the consideration of marketing strategy and brand helped reposition these firms in the minds of their prospective customers, and the customers they already had. Much of the first two chapters in this section is interesting, but really targeted to a chief marketing officer who has the capability to rethink branding and customer experience.
Joachimshtaler saves his best chapter for last - Internalizing the Innovation and Growth Agenda. In this chapter he examines the steps Jeffrey Immelt took to change the way GE thought about itself as an innovator. Immelt entered a well-oiled machine that was excellent at execution and wanted to create a firm that excelled at sustained innovation. To that end, he created a number of initiatives. First, the concept of Imagination Breakthroughs. Each business unit leader had to submit ideas for their business unit that could become a new product or service worth at least $100M in organic revenue. This shook up the culture because traditionally, innovation had been the responsibility of the product management team - now more people and a broader perspective were involved, and the stakes are much higher. Second, he tied senior management compensation to the ability to generate and follow up on these Imagination Breakthroughs. Finally, they created the idea of "One GE" - that is, one united face to a customer, regardless of the opportunity or challenge. Then, using the demain-first innovation concept, they worked to get much closer to the customer - using "dreaming" sessions where executives and customers looked at product and service opportunities. Can you imagine Jack Welch in a "dreaming" session?
As I stated earlier, Hidden in Plain Sight is a great book about strategy that uses innovation as an outcome to help a firm differentiate itself through much more detailed understanding of its customers. Hidden in Plain Sight advocates a complete reversal in the way most firms generate ideas and create new products and services - changing the perspective from a highly segmented, quantitative examination of customers and products to a much more deeply understood customer experience which informs marketing and innovation to create products and services that are relevant to customers' expectations and aspirations.
If you are interested in the nuts and bolts of innovation and how it works, this probably isn't the book for you. If you are interested in the work involved to change your product and service development strategy and gain real insights into your customers and what they really want, then this is the book for you. It combines the rationale for making the change, examples of firms that have taken a very different approach to customer experience, and ideas about how to use that new perspective to drive innovation of new products and services.

The Expert's Edge: Become the Go-To Authority People Turn to Every Time ReviewThere is an old expression that says that knowledge is power. Yet, if no one knows you have the knowledge, does it matter? Ken Lizotte, with his concept of being a thought leader, helps experts create market visibility that they could never achieve on their own. He also helps experts come out of the shadows and into the limelight. Having knowledge is one thing. Being recognized as an expert is another. The knowledgeable starve while the thoughtleaders thrive!

Keep Your Donors: The Guide to Better Communications & Stronger Relationships (The AFP/Wiley Fund Development Series) ReviewI had the pleasure of picking up my copy of KEEP YOUR DONORS at Simone and Tom's workshop in Smithfield, RI just yesterday. It's a fantastic reference guide, especially helpful when presenting fundraising principles to my CEO. This volume is especially perfect for me, since my duties include both fundraising and marketing. A day after receiving it, I've used the book twice at work. First, drafting our organizational communication plan, I used the sample from Planned Parenthood Maryland along with Tom's tips. Then, I needed to call to thank a donor for their gift, and I thought, "What do I say after I say thank-you? How could I get a conversation going?" To my delight, the book had the answers. Outsmart the MBA Clones: The Alternative Guide to Competitive Strategy, Marketing and Branding ReviewMasters degrees in Business Administration (MBA) are not only being taught in elite schools, but in nearly every university, college, and diploma mill that can find some way to get accreditation. Most of the programs teach their students similar concepts in the core subjects of Financial and Management Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Operations, Organizational Behavior, Information Systems, Marketing and Corporate Strategy. If everyone has the same tools and book of tactics, including how to differentiate your company and create a competitive advantage, how can you actually compete and win in the real world? Worse, these kinds of programs train these managers to work, think, and fit in to the large companies that hire MBAs by the campusfull. That is why this book refers to MBA Clones and provides an approach that takes a different tack than standard MBA thinking would see.
It isn't that what you learn as an MBA isn't valuable, it's that learning the core of a business program provides you with only a basic toolset. You still need to learn to apply them. However, if you apply them like everyone else (the problem with `best practices') you aren't creating a compelling advantage. The best business folks are artists and use their toolsets in powerfully creative ways to win in the marketplace.
Dan Herman is a Ph.D. and CEO (and co-owner) of Competitive Advantages Ltd. Through which he and his team serve companies all around the world. Their goal is to help their clients identify growth opportunities and creating `unfair' competitive advantages. Along with this Advantagizing they help create powerful and compelling brands and profitable business models.
In part 1 of this book provides a look at what Herman's views on some common myths of Competitive Advantage (that you have to be better than your competitors, that you have to endear yourself to as many customers as possible, and that your competitive edge is to be found on a parameter that is important in your business category. He then provides a secret to Differentiation and uses examples from Virgin, Google, Starbucks and others to show you what he is after.
Part 2 explains their O-Scan (opportunity scan) method. It is about identifying insights about customers and what they are GOING to want (rather than what they are demanding today). You also learn to use a customers 15 stage consumption process to find points of pain and opportunity, to provide more consumer benefits, and seeing the hidden rules your competitors are using to win.
Part 3 is provides Herman's views of Branding. First you have to understand the consumer's mind. I found this discussion of how the consumer experiences things, what they are trying to do, and how they for their beliefs to be quite interesting. Herman also rejects the idea that Branding creates brands. He says that it is the real success factors that you have identified previously that will provide substance and power to your brand. He provides the ABCDE of Brand Success: Attribution of benefit, Believability, Craving, Differentiation, and Ease of acting upon their desire.
For Herman, brands are more about expectations, anticipations, and dreams that take them out of their hum-drum reality. It is about adventure, temptations, testing limits, nostalgia, and much more. The goal is to make your marketing electrifying to your customers. He also provides interesting chapters on developing marketing hits and how you can drive your consumers crazy about your brand.
Is all this absolutely original and unique? Look, I have an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School and what he says here is consistent with what I learned there. The expectation I had upon graduation was to use what I learned creatively. What Herman does is help those interested in turning the toolkit you were given into a weapons system. And I think that is very worthwhile.

Tactical Transparency: How Leaders Can Leverage Social Media to Maximize Value and Build their Brand (J-B International Association of Business Communicators) ReviewHoltz and Havens put together the business book I've been hoping for. The premise of this groundbreaking business-strategy book is that companies need to be more forthcoming with information about the internal workings of their business. There are three "publics" that a business deals with, according to this book: external (the public), internal (employees) and investors.
From Enron to AIG, opacity in how executives make decisions has cost investors, employees and investors dearly, and the government is stepping up regulations to force companies to be more transparent. Holtz and Havens show that companies that have been transparent all along--with liberal employee-blog policies, social marketing policies and releasing what was once sensitive information (financials, research, opinions, and the handling of corporate mistakes and blunders)--have always fared better and retained the loyalty of their publics even in bad times.
There are concerns to being transparent. Some information is not for competitors' eyes, and some information cannot be legally exposed, especially in publicly traded companies. But the argument for releasing as much information as possible is put forth quite admirably.
By being transparent, a company becomes motivated by honesty, not greed. The employees have a better understanding if the bottom line, and investors feel more confident about the management decisions. A two-way conversation with the public means that a company is better positioned to compete.
The most important points that Holtz and Havens make are that corporate transparency is a legal, moral and competitive requirement, and that transparency among businesses is inevitable, that opacity is not only futile, but self-destructive.
I strongly recommend this book, with a rating of A+. Not only was I inspired by what Holtz and Havens wrote, I am moved to incorporate their ideas into the Flying Pen Press way of business.

Writing for the Internet: A Guide to Real Communication in Virtual Space ReviewFrom the earliest era of writing when the technology was making stylistic marks upon wet clay shards, through the invention of papyri scrolls and quill pens, to typewriters, to computer keyboards, to held-hand blackberries and the most recent mechanical advance in writing -- twittering, technology has impacted in how we communicate through the written word. That evolution, interestingly enough, has gone from the simple to the complex and now back to simple. Each technological development had its own demands imposed upon those who would write -- and the Internet is no exception. That's why "Writing for the Internet: A Guide to Real Communication in Virtual Space", the collaborative work of Craig Baehr and Bob Schaller, is so timely and highly recommended. Spanning a wide range of relevant issues, this thoroughly 'user friendly' introduction and instruction guide ranges from online publishing to blogging and everything in-between. The Hidden Power of Your Customers: 4 Keys to Growing Your Business Through Existing Customers ReviewIn the introduction to "The Hidden Power of Your Customers", Becky Carroll encourages readers to use a highlighter as they read. By the end of the book, I had more yellow highlighter throughout than untouched pages. The book is full of practical advice about unleashing the power of existing customers to: go from satisfied customers to ones with deep affinity, increase their LTV, spread word of mouth and drive referals. The book contains case studies, checklists, metrics and more. I particularly liked the core consept that brands spend the bulk of their marketing dollars on finding new customers and fail to unlock the value of existing customers. In this age when companies confuse followers or fans with true brand asdvocates, it is refreshing to read about a process that makes customers the focus. Sales and Marketing the Six Sigma Way ReviewMost CEOs/COOs/CFOs would agree:
1. Marketing/Sales is both an art and a black box, or even a black hole as it seems to be a continuous cash guzzler.
2. Sometimes CEOs feel they are captives to the Sales VP because even though they are not happy with their sales performance, firing and replacing them with new ones is not a sure win.
3. Marketing campaigns are like shooting in the dark. If you don't shoot, you will not catch anything. But if you keep shooting in the dark, pretty soon the bullets will run out. Most CEOs feel their Marketing VPs are "addicted" to all those fancy marketing programs without assured ROI.
4. VP/Marketing and VP/Sales are like a divorced couple. The best way to pacify them is to keep them separate forever. But how can CEOs afford to do that?
Systems Thinking Guru Russell Ackoff once said that the System cannot detect its own problem and it must be from a high order system level. Marketing and Sales VPs cannot solve their own dilemmas and problems, it requires the CEO/COO/CFO in conjunction
with other functional VPs to work together in a systemic way.
However, among all the functional disciplines, Marketing and Sales are the two most mysterious and hard to understand arenas for the whole executive team. "Sales and Marketing the Six Sigma Way" is the first book ever that not only presents the real CORE of the respective Marketing and Sales function in an easy to understand system way, it also reconnects Marketing/Sales function with the rest of the business in a systemic manner. The introduction of "Customer Value Mapping" in the whole Marketing/Sales process is truly a remarkable contribution by the author, Michael Webb. I personally first saw that idea on Webb's business website 18 months ago and applied it to the company I worked for and realized an unbelievably rewarding result.
A side benefit of reading the book is that with Webb's superior
writing style people can easily absorb the whole idea of Six Sigma and Lean Management without going through all the terminology and jargon commonly found in other books on Six Sigma. This is a very important feature of the book as its main appeal should be for all corporate executives and Marketing/Sales managers, not just QA coaches.
Among over 100 books on Marketing or Sales that I have read since 1990 after founding my own company, this book is definitely on the top. It will also be a great companion book for MBA students to get bridged to the real challenge of the business world and get well trained with a systemic framework that has rich real world success track records, including my own company's fantastic experience.

The Influentials: One American in Ten Tells the Other Nine How to Vote, Where to Eat, and What to Buy ReviewFor one simple, powerful reason THE INFLUENTIALS stands head and shoulders above the field in the marketing trends book sweepstakes. Its insights are based on data, long-term empirical data, judiciously considered. Facts. Numbers. A real departure from most books about the American consumer which base their hypotheses, and thus their recommendations, on anecdotes, renovated B-school doctrine, all plumped up with a few chunks of data culled willy nilly from any variety of sources. (Has anybody else noticed that the same warmed-over statistics show up again and again in the most marketing books? Shall we blame the Internet and Lexis/Nexis searches for this sudden homogeneity?). THE INFLUENTIALS, on the other hand, shares primary research data on the American consumer going back 30 years or more. Berry's and Keller's insights and recommendations are shaped by the evolving opinions of Americans. The horse is before the cart where the horse belongs.
Interspersed with the data and trend analysis, Berry and Keller introduce in mini-bios to actual Influentials. These particularly well-written sections serve to embody the data, (the data sections can get a little overwhelming at times) and show us how an Influential lives, thinks and leads. Most are local community leaders, or have real involvement in their communities, and and as such are the nodes of wide personal networks. They are the people who get things done, the people to whom others look to for advice or counsel. By the way, over the years, about 10% of Americans have ?qualified? by their behavior to be counted as Influentials. The definition of an Influential is based on a question about people's political and other civic behavior that Roper has been asking since the 1920s, and has been updating ever since to reflect changing times.
Now it could be argued that the Roper definition of what constitutes an influential American is antiquated, no longer applicable in the post-modern era. For instance it could be said that the influence of super-empowered individuals (to use Thomas Friedman's term) has been magnified in our hypermediated age to such an extent that "celebrities" now have exponentially more sway over how we choose to think, to live, to dream than any local influential. A good point, but Keller and Berry do not reject the influence of the celebrity and celebrity brand culture. They answer that that Roper Influentials are not only leaders in the sense that others look to them for political or community leadership, but that non-Influentials also look to them for guidance on most consumer goods and entertainment because Influentials also tend to be early adopters of new goods, services and culture. In other words, Influentials serve as an early warning system for those trends that other Americans will get to a six months to a year or so later.
What's really impressive about THE INFLUENTIALS is that Berry and Keller share so much data. That runs counter to another kind of marketing book that readers in this field will recognize -- the marketing books as "teaser." In this type of marketing trends book, the reader is told that the insights offered in the books are based on years of trend data, presumably similar to that found in THE INFLUENTIALS. This type of marketing trends book then indicates that the real information is only available to the clients of the writers. They go on to cite case studies where organizations have used the data to effect stellar marketing programs and boost profit. In other words, now you?ve got to buy their consulting services to get the real information and the real help you need. In THE INFLUENTIALS, it's all there - sometimes actually too much is there - but that's certainly better than books that are empty shells, "door openers" for standard consulting services.
All in all a solid, well-conceived, time-tested and amply proven marketing paradigm. A rare treat. The Influentials: One American in Ten Tells the Other Nine How to Vote, Where to Eat, and What to Buy Overview

Frontline Profit Machine: The Khoury Blueprint for Exploding Profits at the Point of Sale ReviewThe retail sales floor and your other customer contact points are your company's "Frontline." Most of your sales happen here as your staffers interact with your clients. Yet many companies fail to take full advantage of this potential. To maximize your sales, first motivate and train your frontline employees. Sales performance consultant Ziad Y. Khoury provides a blueprint (somewhat grandly named the "Khoury Performance Equation" or KPE) that your company can use to optimize its sales. He designed his program to help businesses create the best environment for frontline employees to enable and encourage them to sell more. His system is detailed, if not highly original. Its major benefit is Khoury's practical advice on building point-of-contact sales. getAbstract finds that this specificity makes the book useful to retail store managers and other executives who deal with the buying public.Frontline Profit Machine: The Khoury Blueprint for Exploding Profits at the Point of Sale Overview

Be Unreasonable: The Unconventional Way to Extraordinary Business Results ReviewI just devoured Paul Lemberg's Be Unreasonable: The Unconventional Way to Extraordinary Business Results. I read Lemberg's Faster Than the Speed of Change last year and loved it, so I've had this one on pre-order for weeks.
I find that most business books can be condensed into 4-8 pages, perfect for Soundview summaries. Not this one. This book - written as six main chapters broken into many short sections, has gold on almost every page.
Much of this is (un-) common sense, but there is much that is surprising, often delighting. There's a whole theme about spending money to make money, a great bit on how to use sacrifice to your advantage, a chapter on pricing, especially raising prices, and my favorite section - The Art of Unreasonable Requests. I started using this immediately and I'm already having people say "yes" to things that I couldn't have gotten yesterday. Lemberg calls it "More Cycles and Bigger Bites."
In keeping with Be Unreasonable's thinking about ROI: I've already earned back way more than the cost of my time invested in this one.
Great read, great ideas, great book! And very, very actionable. I like that.

Breakthrough Nonprofit Branding: Seven Principles to Power Extraordinary Results (The AFP/Wiley Fund Development Series) ReviewCarol Cone, recognized internationally as the mother of cause marketing, once recounted to an eager group of MBA students how she shared a stage with the Dalai Lama. She described how you could relate shared themes of connectivity, collaboration, and compassion to their very different spheres of work, and how companies and their brands aligned with a core purpose could change the world. Ms. Cone and Jocelyne Daw bring the "brands can change the world" spirit and their collective know-how to Breakthrough Nonprofit Branding: Seven Principles to Power Extraordinary Results (The AFP/Wiley Fund Development Series). It is an important book, both instructive and inspirational on many levels.
There is a lot to learn about branding, and what that really means, for example, the rational-emotional-engagement dimensions of a brand and how brand meaning serves (or should serve) as an organization's central operating principle. I especially liked the chapter on brand communications and new media tools that socialize brand meaning and tie into business objectives. (Point of disclosure: I work for an Irish internet company, "ammado," whose global engagement and giving technology is designed expressly for this kind of purpose.)
The chapter on brand communications/Principle 4 is representative of the many levels on which the book operates, presenting an overview of the principle, specific how-to success factors (detailed in an exhaustive checklist), and real world experiences of selected nonprofits. It is in the case studies of these exemplary nonprofits that the book's inspirational tone shines through: from the story-telling power of one woman's fight in the "Go Red"/American Heart Association campaign, to Komen for the Cure's voice of empowerment for women, to Goodwill's daily contribution to community enterprise and personal development.
The cumulative effect is a book that goes to the heart of nonprofit leadership and how nonprofits drive social change, and stands squarely as a valued resource for successful change management in any sector. For all of these reasons, Breakthrough Nonprofit Branding: Seven Principles to Power Extraordinary Results (The AFP/Wiley Fund Development Series) has a wide natural audience of readers who, through their work, daily lives, and values are making a positive difference in the world we all share.Breakthrough Nonprofit Branding: Seven Principles to Power Extraordinary Results (The AFP/Wiley Fund Development Series) Overview
